We take the time to understand what you’d like to change and carefully assess your teeth, gums and bite before recommending treatment. Your plan is tailored to your individual needs, goals and smile.
Using digital scans and 3D treatment planning, we can carefully plan how your teeth are expected to move and show you the proposed outcome before treatment begins.
Your treatment is professionally planned and monitored by our dental team, with regular reviews to check your progress and make sure everything is moving as expected.
Our care doesn’t end when you finish your aligners. We’ll provide a personalised retention plan to help maintain your new tooth positions and protect your result for the long term.
With your treatment, reviews and aftercare all provided at Meliora Dental, you’ll have continuity of care from your first consultation through to your final retainer.

From your first consultation to maintaining your new smile, we’ll guide you through every stage.
Your Consultation
Tell us what you’d like to change about your smile. We’ll assess your teeth, gums and bite, discuss your goals and determine whether clear aligner treatment is suitable for you.
See Your Personalised Plan
Using digital scans, we’ll create your individual treatment plan and talk you through the proposed tooth movements, expected treatment time and what you can expect before you decide to proceed.
Start Your Treatment
Once your aligners are ready, we’ll make sure they fit correctly and explain everything you need to know. We’ll review your progress throughout treatment and be there to support you along the way.
Maintain Your New Smile
Once treatment is complete, we’ll provide your personalised retention plan to help keep your teeth in their new positions and maintain your result for the long term.
Crowded teeth occur when there is not enough space for your teeth to fit properly. This can make brushing and flossing more difficult, allowing plaque, tartar and bacteria to build up. Over time, crowded teeth may increase the risk of tooth decay, gum disease and other oral health problems.

Gaps between teeth are spaces between two or more teeth. Food can become trapped in these areas, making your gums feel tender or sore. Larger or widening gaps may also make cleaning more difficult and can sometimes be linked to gum problems, including gum disease, depending on the cause.

An open bite occurs when your upper and lower teeth do not meet when you close your mouth. This can make biting and chewing certain foods more difficult. Depending on the cause and severity, an open bite may also affect speech, tooth function and the way pressure is placed on your teeth.
An underbite occurs when your lower front teeth sit in front of your upper front teeth when you close your mouth. It can sometimes be related to the position of the lower jaw. Depending on its severity, an underbite may affect chewing, speech and how your teeth meet and wear.
An overbite occurs when your upper front teeth overlap your lower front teeth. A small amount of overlap is normal, but a deeper overbite can sometimes affect your bite. In more pronounced cases, it may contribute to tooth wear, discomfort or other problems affecting how your teeth and jaw function.
A crossbite occurs when one or more upper teeth sit inside the lower teeth when you close your mouth. If left untreated, a crossbite can contribute to uneven tooth wear, chipping or gum recession. Depending on its severity, it may also affect your bite and how your teeth function.
Not sure which of these applies to you?
You do not need to know before booking. Your dentist will assess your teeth and bite and explain what, if anything, needs to be addressed.
