Composite bonding improves the width, length, and shape of individual teeth to give a proportioned smile.

Composite bonding achieves a natural-looking tooth-to-tooth ratio, which makes a significant difference to how your smile looks amongst your facial features.

The benefits don’t stop there though: treatment can also improve the shade of discoloured teeth that are resistant to teeth whitening gels, and fill out chipped teeth.

Using composite, we can restore individual teeth, but it’s also possible to deliver a smile makeover. This is when composite is used on multiple teeth that are misshapen or chipped. When performing a smile makeover with composite, we will show you how the composite looks over the top of your teeth. Once you are happy with the design (which we’re sure you will be!), our dentists can go ahead, using their keen eye for artistry, and produce the natural-looking result you’re looking for.

Composite resin is effective at mimicking the appearance of real tooth enamel. As talented and experienced cosmetic dentists, we will be able to create a result that cannot be distinguished from genuine natural tooth enamel.

FAQs

Is Composite Bonding Better Than Porcelain Veneers?

We recommend composite bonding to patients seeking minimally-invasive and preservative treatment. Veneers on the other hand, are more involved, as tooth structure must be removed in order to adhere the porcelain firmly to your tooth. Veneers are generally a longer-lasting solution, and the use of porcelain to create them makes for a superior cosmetic outcome to composite bonding.

Can Composite Bonding Be Combined With Teeth Whitening?

Many of our patients combine composite bonding with teeth whitening. As composite resin does not react to whitening gel, teeth whitening will need to be carried out prior to composite bonding. Once the desired shade is achieved with the whitening process, the resins can be matched to the shade of your newly whitened teeth.

Came here for a dental implant after losing a tooth in a car accident 10 years prior. The process involved using Invisalign as my teeth had moved and the gap where the implant was to be inserted had become too narrow. Also, due to the amount of time that had passed, there was not enough bone to place the implant, and I needed to have bone grafts. The first bone graft was unsuccessful, but thankfully the second one was a success, enabling me to go ahead with the implant. Though this added time to the expected treatment timeframe, Kunal explained every part of the process with me in detail, and gave care advice at each stage. He cared about how my smile would look, my appointments never felt rushed, and time and care was taken to ensure the implant would function and look like a natural tooth. Would definitely recommend.

The staff are very nice and professional. It's expensive but you will get your money's worth. My teeth (mouth) is at it's healthiest since my pregnancy. My crown looks like my other teeth (it will take a little getting used to) but am pleased with them. They know their job in my opinion.

Had my appointment today with the dental hygienist Ellie and she did a phenomenal job! She took a good 45 mins to clean my teeth and removed all the stains and plaque build up. Ellie also took the time to explain how to properly brush your teeth especially the difficult to reach areas. Best teeth clean I’ve ever got!

I attended this practice for an appointment to replace a filling. I was able to discuss the alternatives and choose my preferred treatment.
